There are four (4) prominent types of eyelid surgery Singapore that you can avail. The following are:

  1. Scarless eyelid surgery

Suitable for individuals with less or no excess skin or fats in the upper eyelids, scarless eyelid surgery Singapore is carried out by stitching method using multiple anchor points.  Under minimal anesthesia, this method only takes about 20 minutes to perform.

  1. Full incision method

One of the most common types of eyelid surgery method, full incision procedure involves the removal and reconfiguration of excessive fat, muscle and skin on the upper eyelid. This is done by extending the line of the eyelid beyond the last third of the eye to create a more natural look.

  1. Buried sutured method

This procedure involves non-invasive and non-incision method. Buried sutured is carried out by knotting small sutures above the eyes to create folds. The good thing about this procedure is that you can still undo or revert back the original state of your eyelid even after completing the double eyelid surgery.

  1. Partial incision method

Unlike full incision and buried suture, partial incision method has smaller and less noticeable scars. The procedure is done through small incision segments along the eyelid to lessen the fat and skin tissues. Instead of going beyond the last third of the eyes, partial incision method only extend the line up to the last third of the eyes.

The recovery process of double eyelid surgery might take some time but the result is worth the wait. As new skin tissues around the eyes will settle in, your eyes will eventually look natural and flawless.  After a while, you can apply make-up on it and look as dashing as ever.

Again, like any other surgical methods, double eyelid surgery will require a bit of cash. It is advisable to consult first with your cosmetic surgeon as to how much will be the cost of the operation. It is also recommended to undergo consultation before and after the operation to avoid any complications.
